Actually, a lot of this season's collections are using these colour tones - the purple, blues and greens with an almost satin texture. Gucci has used them on shoes and on a sequin blazer jacket, EmporioArmani used them on frilly, fur bomber jackets. Dolce and Gabbana's new collection includes variations of these blues, pinks and purples in an army/Victorian style brought into the modern styles of tulip skirts and massive platform heels.

So ther is some fashion education about this seasons designer wear, so you can look out for these styles on the highstreet that don't need 6 down payments over the next 8 months.
